SMR Forum

A new online blog has been launched by the SMR Forum. Designed to promote discussion on important SMR issues, the new facility is run on behalf of the SMR Forum by Motorconsult.

This is a further and welcome addition, to the Forum’s facilities and will allow Forum Members access to read and create discussion topics, download meeting minutes and reports and ask questions about vehicle service and support.

The SMR Forum, which is strongly supported by the BVRLA, was created in late 2001, to provide a UK discussion platform for the vehicle leasing industry specifically on the subject of vehicle service, maintenance and repair. Membership of the Forum is open to all leasing and fleet management companies. Motor manufacturers and other industry organisations are also invited to attend Forum meetings and can become associate members of the Forum which gives them access to the Forum website, as well.

"We are actively seeking full participation on the website from the whole industry,” said SMR Steering Committee Chairman, Ian Hare, "So we are encouraging manufacturers, component suppliers and other service suppliers to become associate members."
